My Happiest Day?

Today was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life — I’m turning the great 28 tomorrow and I’m leaving the USA for the first time ever. I could barely sleep last night filled with anxiousness and making sure I had all my ducks in a row before I took off.

I woke up super early and everything! Had some deadlines I had to complete before leaving so I got up about 6AM — Flight Didn’t leave until close to 11AM… I got a call from Dad.. 7:47 … “I hate to tell you this…Angie passed … my sister is gone…she passed away” … His ONLY sister… The Sweetest Auntie a girl could ask for — She left us in her sleep this morning …Still in total disbelief…

This is so hard for me right now to enjoy my trip the way I had intended simply because I wanted to come back home and share my journeys with her… We spoke yesterday and made some plans…  I was to do her hair once I return and I was going to spend the night over one last time before I moved back to ATL… Spoke about her Mother — My Grandmother Annie and how her last vacation was in Canada (where I’m going) ….I’m just so heartbroken… I haven’t felt a pain like this since my Grandmother passed (My Dads Mom…obviously hers too) … I’m just so numb right now after all the balling and crying uncontrollably … I was able to get my thoughts together .. my emotions are still off track right now….

Rest Peacefully Auntie Angie — You will forever be missed my love!!! I will travel for you! I will stay healthy for you I will continue to follow my bliss for you!! I love you so!!!  Oh My sweet sweet Angel I know you are dancing with your shoulders! No More Pain, No More Suffering, No More Drama.. You’ll never have to Hurt again!!! I will celebrate LIFE for YOU!!

P.S. Please Tell Grandma I miss her too!! XOXOXO!!

Your support is greatly appreciated! 🙂 Looking over the updates I my myself …well… I’m feeling really good about the process made so far! I’m simply excited for the future. 🙂

Now, there is a debut album in the works. Just really focusing on getting the music just right… ya know..the content — making sure I am relaying my messages properly and balancing myself enough to trust the creative process. Yeah.. I know as a songwriter I (we) sometimes  overthink… but the perfect ideas come right on time… so no worries! Well I hope you’ve enjoyed our ride thus far this year we’re at the half way mark in 2016 and we’ve already done some amazing things together ..and our journey isn’t over — next we’ll be focusing on creating some music and ways to involve and evolve a little-lotta bit more #TeamJeanine ! 😉 xoxoxo.

Happy Spring Love Birds! 🙂

So, yes it took me a minute to get this done for several reasons…mainly because I really dreaded reliving this situation, having to watch it and being transparent about it. But HEY! I pushed through just for you and my sanity. Living in freedom is key and this was the “Last Phase” for me opening up my life to allow the bad to leave and the good to flow right in. Remember how important self-love is before you call yourself loving someone else.

Loves! I know it takes me a while to give my blog the attention it needs but …bare with me I am getting better I promise! I wanted to share with you all who aren’t following me on any other social media these photos from late 2015.

I had this amazing shoot with my insanely smart and talented cousin Shareen Clement and an wonderful unique young wardrobe stylist Tamara Brown. I love these photos as they truly represent who I am inside and out. These we’re taken on the very first day of Winter in 2015. Funny Thing how Georgia’s weather works…  We we’re in Brunswick, Ga then on Saint Simons Island. This shoot was very awkwardly fun, but turned out amazing if I must say so myself.  I just love how I was able to embrace nature… Plus I’ve always had this weird thing with Rocks, Trees, Water, and Yoga Moves…  Check these out !
